A few days ago I was craving for these. I had my friend came over and we made them. After that day and for the next two day I went crazy for these. I ate them nonstop for 3 straight days! For now I have grown tire of them. I took pictures and step by step direction for those who wish to make them at home or those who enjoy cooking and/or looking at delicious food, like me!  Smiley

Chopped Cilantro and Green Onions

Steam Roll Flour (I wouldn't recommend these brand because the turn out wasn't as good as the other brand I often use)

Ground pork

The Flour after mixing with water, oil and 1 egg

Cooked ground pork

Add in cilantro and green onion

Pour a spoonful of the flour mix into a flat pan. Stir the flour liquid around and make sure there is no holes within the sheet.

Flip pan over after the flour sheet is cooked and put a few of the meat on it. Roll it up.

Make your pepper and its ready to serve! I eat my with chopsticks! Not sure if you guys do and my friend thought it was weird. LOL

Dang. You looked that close. Whao. For a four-eyed zombie, you got pretty good vision. Don't mean you go stalking hlubbers now. Cheesy We don't want to be losing hlubbers. Dang you.

.....

MisX, those look hella yummy. I love eating them more than I do making them. Undecided

Might I suggest something else you can add to the filling? Like you, I used to just use cilantro and scallions. But one of my friends taught me to spice up the flavor. She uses garlic and mixes that in with the meat. And plus another big hit ingredient for me is those black fungus thingy ma-giggies. I don't know the correct name for them but you can find them at any Asian supermarket. For sure. Just a suggest for you to try next time.

I might make some this weekend for my sister's return trip from Thailand. Maybe. Flipping the pan enough times to feed a large family requires quite a lot of patience and hard work.

Miss_Sonia:

I know exactly what you're talking about referring to the black fungus stuff. I had ate them before in steam rolls and I didn't like it. I guess I prefer my the normal stuff, meat, cilantro and green onions. But thanks for the suggestion.

LOL. You got that right! Making steam rolls does take a pretty long time. I made about 4 bags a few times to feed the family and it took me at least 3-4 hours. I did everything myself; preparation, cooking, washing dishes, cleaning up, making the pepper. Standing by the hot stove for 3-4 hours straight, boy, thats hard work.  Cheesy

That sure looks good!  Do you really put egg in it?  Is it one bag to one egg?

Wow, that's a long time. Perhaps, I should pay closer attention when my mom makes it. She did it so quick and with so much ease that I didn't give it much thought as to the timming.

Thanks for sharing! Funny how it's a small world. They're exactly how my mom and I make them. Some people always want to add more ingredients, but I never like to add more, just like you. =D
